A large domestic environment constructed and meticulously painted white by Kusama wherein, over the course of two weeks, children were given thousands upon thousands of colorful stickers and invited to collaborate in the complete transformation of the space. (via Colossal)

on this website you can ‘like’ the clothes they are selling. that way customers know what other people think of each item. i.e. the more likes it has the more people like it….

Having gone my whole life thinking that ampersands were just an ‘and’ sign. After reading Simon Garfields - ‘Just My Type’, I discovered they were so much more than that. Originally an ampersand was ‘et’ (Latin for and) but when writers were in a rush they would combine the letters et and it would form an ampersand sign. Many early typographers experimented with the design of the ampersand. Most notably William Caxton who made it look more beautiful. Have a look at Simon Garfields article to learn more here.
